Watching the goings on in the fourth estate from close quarters for the last quarter century, author is competent to make authoritative comments on it. The fourth estate which is considered to be the strongest pillar that keeps the democratic system intact has a big role to play.
The society expects the media to serve it. But unfortunately this role of the media is threatened; threat comes not from the government or any outside force but mostly from inside the media itself.
This is a collection of articles written by the author in various media related publications. First published in 2004 a second edition has come out in March 08.
